Yes! You read correctly. BattlARTS and Futen have joined forces to bring forth Young Generation Battle in 2008. The return tournament shall span May – August and will be co-promoted by both promotions.

Mitsuya Nagai and Kota Iibushi had problems, possibly signalling a singles match in the near future.
KyoSas attacked his opponents early, which angered them. Ishikawa and Sawa shook hands at the end of the match, signalling future unity.
Ikeda dominated Oba, knocking him down several times for down counts. Oba was not giving up though, hitting a German Suplex then locking on an Armlock to defeat Ikeda, who refused to tapout!

Following the main event, Ikeda spoke about how he wants to have a tournament. A large trophy was brought out, as Ikeda announced the return of the Young Generation Battle! KyoSas stated straight away he would win the tournament, before Oba said that the return ‘Will do’.
The tournament will span between May and August with the finals on 27/07 and 03/08.

Finally, Carl Greco returned to Japan, coming out to greet Daisuke Ikeda to the delight of many fans. Will he participate in the Young Generation Battle?

Chihiro Oikawa will have her debut game against Mariko Yoshida at the 08/06 BattlARTS convention.
