BattlARTS announced today a new match for their 11/11 Shinjuku FACE event. Current Independant Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Kota Iibushi, re-enters the promotion to take on the youngest member, Keita Yano.

Hello,

 I would like to make mention that Jeff Lynch has the February and May shows from this year of BattlARTS.
The February show had the superb main event of Yuki Ishikawa/Kazunari Murukami vs Daisuke Ikeda/Daisuke Sekimoto, and the semi main with the altercations between Munenori Sawa and Hayato Jr. Fujita which lead to their singles match in July.
The May show had another amazing tag match, with Daisuke Ikeda/Shuji Ishikawa vs Ryuji Hijikata/Tsuyoshi Kurihara. The main event was Yuki Ishikawa against Munenori Sawa, and words cannot do justice to how hard those two put into that match.

Hopefully he will also be getting the recently released July show, which has Sawa/Fujita and the return of Alexander Otsuka.

Ikeda Injured. BattlARTS in Tokyo!

Daisuke Ikeda suffered an injury at yesterdays special show, and has had to cancel from BattlARTS Shinjuku FACE show next month.

Ikuto Hidaka returns to BattlARTS for their first Tokyo landing in four years, as he teams with ‘Prime’ student, Munenori Sawa to take on Touro Owashi and the last BattlARTS student before the break, Manabu Hara.

In the main event of the show, Yuki Ishikawa teams with super wrestler, Alexander Otsuka against Katsumi Usuda, and the main who is probably taking the place of what would have been Daisuke Ikeda, Satoru Sayama’s special student, Super Tiger II.

A few surprises in the opening rounds of the Futen Tag Tournament. The former Crafter M, Hiroshi Moriyama made a surprise return to Futen with a solid win over Yoshikawa of the BattlARTS promotion. Kyosuke Sasaki picked up one of his biggest wins yet, with a victory over Manabu Hara. The referee had to call the match, after several high kicks and strikes from Sasaki, basically KO’ing Hara.
In the main event, the superstar team of Daisuke Ikeda and Mitsuya Nagai fell to the star BattlARTS team, with Ishikawa utilising a strong Sleeper Hold to make Mitsuya Nagai tap out!
